Key Points:
- Select Fill Importance: Proper grade and moisture content in select fill are crucial for stability. We used soil injection to stabilize the ground, followed by 3 feet of select fill in 12" lifts, each tested to meet geotechnical standards.
- Detention Pond: The retaining wall around the pond is 90% complete, and work has started on the outfall.
- Subcontractor Meeting: We held a meeting with all key subs (electrical, plumbing, concrete, erectors). 4E Construction, our General Contractor, ensures smooth communication and coordination. All subs are licensed and experienced in similar projects, making them the backbone of this successful project.
